I’m Nico, born on 30th April 1953 in Amsterdam and I work as a Maintenance Engineer in a big hotel in the centre of Amsterdam.
Tonia my wife is my support and confidant, my friend and the most loving, I’m also damn proud and crazy about Frank my son.
I also mentioned my lovely sister Ria, who is also on the site.
The funny thing is that Tonia’s brother is married to Ria.
How about that? Brother sister brother sister.
That’s why we have such a tight bond with each other.

 

I have many hobbies, working on my computer, like this homepage for example and also listening to music on it.

I also play the Yamaha Tyros 4 workstation. I love to Jam on this instrument and explore it’s many sounds any possibilities.

Music is therefore my dearest hobby, I couldn’t go without it!

This was at the birthday party of my nephew Wouter.
There we had a great Jam session with each other.
The 3400 watt sound system with 800 watt subwoofer that we borrowed was a delight to the body.
Because music should not only be heard but also felt.

Why’s the site called nico-de-mus?

It dates back from when I was still at primary school. Grandma used to call me nicodemus as a sort of pet name, and in primary the headmaster also used to call me that….This name has played a role for me my whole life and because nicodemus.nl was already taken, that’s why the name is hyphenated because this one was luckily still available.
